Water-resistance:

Avoid to shower, taking a bath or go swimming with your STRELA!
A hard knock might cause the watch to lose its water-resistance without you realising it.
Regular STRELAs however are qualified as 3ATM water resistant. That means it is protected against sweat,
water drops and you “could” wash your car with it. We recommend to keep your watch safe during activities were a lot of water is involved.
Anyway, in a worst case scenario you might see fog beneath your chrystal one day.
If this is the case, please contact us immediately and maybe already prepare to send the watch to us for service.
The longer you wait in such a case, the more damage could occur.

Cleaning:

For all bracelets (except leather and delicate straps) and for all water resistant watch cases
use a toothbrush with mild soapy water for gentle cleaning and then use a soft cleaning cloth for drying.

Bathing in the sea:

Avoid to go bathing or swimming with regular STRELA models!
If you wear your watch near saltwater and you have a great day at the beach, you can carefully rinse your watch with lukewarm water afterwards.
Use a soft cleaning cloth for drying. Sea water especially affects the leather quality.
Remember, when it comes to water – less is more!

Magnetic fields:

Avoid placing your watch on speakers or other electrical motors with strong magnetic fields
as they can affect the running and precision of your STRELA-Watch.

Shocks:

A hard knock might cause diverse damages to your watch. Therefore avoid all types of shocks, including thermal shocks.

Temperatures:

Avoid extreme temperatures above 60C or 140 F, below -10C or 14F or extreme temperature changes.

Date change:

The date of the STRELA watch changes between 12H AM and 4H AM. Therefore do not adjust the date function during this time.
It could seriously damage the watch movement.
